Burnout Levels of Teachers Working In Special Education

Special education as a type of involving the children whose development is slow compared to their peers and ability adapt society, includes challenging processes for child's family well its teachers. Determining burnout levels teachers working in field special has been identified main goal this research. Explanation physical exhaustion, emotional mental exhaustion teachers, determination whether teacher's views differ according domographic characteristics are included scope sub-goals. The Maslach Burnout scale was used collect data study, which general screening model. applied all (142 teachers) schools Eyüpsultan District Istanbul province. 137 scales have returned. According results obtained, education, generally “some” level(X=2,63±of 0.38); dimension exhaustion: “sometimes” level (X=2,84 ± 0,49); size (X=2,68 0,39); “very rare” (x=is 2.38 0,64) were found employee burnout. It that differed age, gender, branch, institution studied, duration work education.
